4. Prepare measurement
Inserting battery
• Remove the battery cover
(left side of the unit).
• Insert two 1.5 V micro
batteries (alkaline, type
LR03). Make absolutely
sure that you insert the batteries with the correct polarity
as marked. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
• Replace the battery cover carefully.
If the “change battery” icon
is displayed, measurement is
no longer possible and you must replace all the batteries.
Spent batteries and rechargeable batteries do not constitute
normal household waste! They are considered to be toxic waste
and, as such, should be disposed of in special containers, toxic
waste collection points or brought to electrical goods dealers.
