Q: After driver installed, there is no new hard disk model name show at “Disk
Drivers” of “Device Manager” or “Universal Serial Bus controllers” does not
have “USB Mass Storage Device” appear.
A: Adjust jumper of hard disk to “Cable Select” or other setting and try again.
Q: If a brand new hard disk has been installed at enclosure. It shows “USB Mass
Storage Device” in “Universal Serial Bus controllers”, but there is not any new
hard disk at “Disk drivers”.
A: Please FDISK and FORMAT hard disk.
Q: When transferring file and system hang-up.
A: Set “Never” at “Turn Off hard disk” of “Power Management” of “Device Manager”.
Q: When I connect the PS/2 to DC cable (USB to DC cable) to the enclosure, it
cannot works.
A: It might be the problem of your computer cannot provide the enough current to
start up the hard disk. You have to connect the power adaptor.
Q: How can I choose the power adapter and know it is the right spec for this
enclosure.
A: The power adaptor specification is DC Output 5V, 2.5A and the connector must
be the same as the picture below.
* Please unplug the power adaptor when the enclosure is not use.
