7.10.1 Turn on your Apple computer and make sure that the USB port is enabled
and work properly.
7.10.2 Plug the USB2.0 to IDE 2.5” hard disk enclosure to your MAC, the
system will auto convert the HDD to the Macintosh PC Exchange format.
7.10.3 After the step, you can see the “NEW VOLUME” icon appear on the
desktop
7.10.4 To make sure the USB2.0 to IDE 2.5” hard disk enclosure can works
properly, you have to check the “Apple System Profiler”-“Devices and
volumes”, you can see two items under the USB item

7.11.1 Throw the “NEW VOLUME” icon to the Trash , and restart your computer
again.
