IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Read all instructions before operating

Do not immerse cord or unit in water or other liquids

Do not use without the fan blade guard in place or with loose fan

Keep fingers and other objects away from fan blades

Do not install where fan would obstruct safe vehicle operation or

PARTS IDENTIFICATION
MOUNTING
There are two mounting options available.
Use the spring

MoUNTiNg ClAMp to attach to the dashboard or
other secure structure.
Attach more permanently to a horizontal or vertical surface driving

CAUTION: for safety, the fan should be mounted 2-3 feet from the
driver and passengers.
OPERATION
Make sure the fan is attached using either of the two methods

plug the 12-V DC plug into any 12-V power receptacle or cigarette

Use the Variable Speed Dial on the 12V plug to adjust the airflow

The fan may be used with our 200 watt Converter #6993 to allow

CLEANING
Unplug the fan from the 12-volt power receptacle before cleaning.
Dust with a soft cloth or other dusting item. Use a damp rag to clean
tougher dirt or grime as needed. Do not submerge any part of the fan.
CAUTION: if the fan blade guard was removed for cleaning, ensure it
is properly re-attached before using again.
TROUBLESHOOTING
if the 12-volt circuit fails to operate, try the following suggestions:
Unplug from the power supply an make sure that the receptacle is

clean. Do NoT Use MeTAl Tools. if cleaning is needed, use
only insulators, such as wood.
Check the plug’s fuse. Carefully unscrew the plug’s top section.
2.
Remove and check the fuse with the proper electronic meter. if
defective, replace with correct fuse (see specification for type).
Also check the vehicle’s fuse panel.
some cigarette lighters have a separate circuit breaker located
3.
directly behind the cigarette lighter receptacle. if you lighter
is not working, this circuit breaker may have blown and could
require replacement. Consult your vehicle owner’s manual for
replacement.
