2.2 Player Management Console Login
The Player Web Management Console is an user interface which
enables user to remotely control and administrate PDS Player, including
designing and scheduling the presentation, managing Player’s
configuration as well as monitoring Player system information.
• Provide overall system information
• Support Service Restart, System Reboot and Firmware Update features
• Monitor and control major system services
• Manually select default TV channel for Player
• Schedule presentations to be played at specific time as predefined
• View and download Proof of Play message file.
If you log into Player Management Console from a PC/laptop, launch
the browser and type in DHCP IP address appearing on the display
attached to the Player to access the console.
If you log into Player Management Console directly from the Player,
type “password” first to switch the default background image to the
desktop, launch the browser and type in http://localhost to access the
console.
Use the following combo to log into Player Management Console:
Username: administrator
Password: welcome
Select the language you would like to use. Currently English and
Traditional
Chinese are available.
