The system will then boot on output 1 and 3 of the card closest to the SBC, irrespective of the settings of
the identification links on the graphics cards. In this context “closest to the SBC” is defined in terms of the
PCI bus enumeration, so if a VSN900X is attached to the host, the system will boot on the first VGA card
to be discovered in the VSN900X (counting from the slot closest to the SLink slot), and failing that the first
graphics card in the host machine.
When the BIOS is set to PEG/PCI as above you are free to install the graphics cards in any PCIe slot,
including the first (x8 lane) slot.
