• Do not cover the switchable sockets. Heat will accumulate
underneath the cover, resulting in a fire hazard.
• Check the devices regularly for damage. Do not replace
damaged parts. Contact the manufacturer or dispose of the
devices in an environmentally safe manner.
• Do not handle the devices with wet hands.
• Disconnect the switchable sockets from the mains to set
them to zero potential.
Special care is required when handling batteries.
• Risk of explosion! Do not try to recharge non-rechargeable
batteries.
• As soon as a battery is empty, remove it from the battery
compartment and dispose of it in an environmentally safe
manner.
• Do not throw batteries into the fire or expose them to high
temperatures.
• Do not open or short-circuit batteries.
• Battery acid leaking from a battery can result in skin irrita-
tion. If you come into contact with battery acid, rinse the
skin with plenty of water. In case of contact with the eyes,
do not rub your eyes; rinse immediately with plenty of water
and seek medical advice at once.
• Remove the battery when not in use to avoid discharging it
unnecessarily.

Dispose of Electrical Devices in an Environmentally
Safe Manner!
Electrical devices do not belong in the household
rubbish. According to Directive 2012/19/EC on waste electrical
and electronic equipment used electrical equipment must be
collected separately and recycled in an environmentally safe
manner. Contact your municipal administration for informa-
tion on how to dispose of your used device.

Batteries do not belong in the household rubbish. They can
contain toxic heavy metals and must be treated as hazardous
