Introduction
Atlona’s HDBaseT Roadnet Extenders were created for rental and staging applications that need
reliability over long distances. Using HDBaseT technology the Roadnet extenders combine audio,
video, power (PoCc
TM ), Ethernet, RS-232, and IR control up to 328 feet (100 meters) over a single
category cable.

• HDBaseT connection via Neutrik etherCON TM connector (NE8MC)
• Extends IR and audio/visual content up to 328ft @ 1080p over a single category cable
• Supports 4Kx2K pass through
• Captive screw IR I/O ports for emitting and receiving IR control signals for use with IR remote
controls and 3rd party control boxes
• PoCc (Power over Category cable) feature removes the need for a power supply at the receiver
• Lossy and lossless multi-channel audio formats pass through (including Dolby TrueHD and
DTS-HD Master Audio)
• Quick disconnect 24V DC power supply
• Full 3D pass through
• HDCP compliant
• Make sure when connecting the category cables a 568B termination method is used
• Avoid using patch panels and wall plates during initial set up and testing
• When installing the extenders DO NOT:
Cover the vents
Install in a wall
Install in an area without adequate air ventilation
Do not cover
vents!
