3. Place the shaft of the flue probe into the flue.
4. 707 will measure the CO. Empty water/air filter as needed.
5. The 707 has an alarm that will sound at 500 ppm (factory set)
for your safety.
NOTE: The instrument has an auto shut off after 10 minutes should
no keys have been pressed for this period and as mentioned above
that the CO is below 15ppm. Should the CO be above 15ppm then
the 10 minute auto shut off countdown will not begin till the CO
has gone below 15ppm.
E. Activating the Backlight
1. Follow the procedure in “A” above.
2. Press and hold down the Func button for 2 seconds. The back
light will come on and the icon will appear on the LCD.
3. Light will automatically turn off after 20 seconds to preserve
battery life.
F. Saving your Data
1. Once you have obtained a reading and want to save it, press
the Store button once.
2. The display will show “Addr SA” and a number from 0 to 9 will
flash.
3. Using the up and down arrows, select the desired location to
save the readings.
4. Press the Scroll/Enter key once. The 707 will store the readings
and return to the normal screen.
G. Recalling your Saved Data
1. Press the Recall button once.
2. The display will show “Addr SA” and a number from 0 to 9 will
flash.
3. Using the up and down arrows, select the desired location to
save the readings.
4. Press the Scroll/Enter key once. The 707 will display the date
and time screen showing when that reading was stored.
5. Use the up and down arrows to scroll through the CO and Peak
readings that were saved.
H. Printing Stored Data (requires optional A740 IR printer)
1. Press the Print button once.
2. The display will show “Addr SA” and a number from 0 to 9 will
flash.
3. Using the up and down arrows, select the desired location to
print the readings.
4. Turn on the IR printer and align it with the IR port on the 707.
5. Press the Scroll/Enter key once. The 707 will display “out” and
the printer will start printing the data.
6. Once the data output is finished, the display on the 707 will
read “END” with yes flashing. Press Scroll/Enter to exit or use
the up and down arrows to select another address to print.
I. Setting the Date and Time
1. Follow the procedure in “A” above.
2. Press the Func button once. The current time, date and year
are displayed. Please note that the time is on a 24 hour clock
and the date is shown as DD/MM.
3. To change a value, press the Scroll/Enter button once. The
minutes for the time will begin to flash.
4. Using the up or down arrow, set the display to the correct
value.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for hours, month, day and year until all
items are set and there is nothing flashing on the LCD.
6. Press the Func button to return to CO measurement.
Battery Replacement
1. Remove the battery compartment cover from the bottom of the
handle by sliding the door away from the front side of the instru
ment.
2. Remove the batteries and replace by sliding the negative (-) end of
the batteries in first.
3. Replace the battery cover by sliding the door into the slots provid
ed in the handle and allow it to snap into place.
4. For best performance use quality alkaline
batteries.
