Operating Instructions:
A. Powering up the 707
1. Turn the unit on in an uncontaminated
environment (clean air away from the system in question) by
holding down the red ON/OFF switch for 2 seconds.
2. The 707 will power up and go through a 30 second self test to
ensure the unit is operating properly.
3. When the display shows 0 ppm, you are ready to measure CO.
B. Attaching Mini Pump Protection Filter
1. Obtain the pump filter assembly and push the open end of the
tube onto the inlet at the top of the 707 (refer to figure below).
C. Measuring CO in Ambient Air
1. Complete steps A and B above.
2. Place the 707 in any area to measure CO.
3. The 707 has an alarm that will sound at 500 ppm (factory set)
for your safety.
NOTE: The instrument has an auto shut off after 10 minutes should
no keys have been pressed for this period and as mentioned above
that the CO is below 15ppm. Should the CO be above 15ppm then
the 10 minute auto shut off countdown will not begin till the CO
has gone below 15ppm.
D. Measuring CO in Flue Gas
1. Complete steps A and B above.
2. Attach the hose from the flue probe to the Mini Pump
Protection Filter.

Toggles beween CO reading and Peak Reading. Used to
save, recall and print stored data.
Used for setting date, time and accessing data storage

age addresses
Used to store data in one of 10 data storage addresses.
Used to select CO measurement or date/time in main dis-
play. Hold down for 2 seconds to activate LCD backlight.
Sends the recalled stored data to the IR printer port.
