Disconnect power and remove the 3 Rear Panels.
Line up purifier so that the attachment holes on the purifier
frame line up with the holes on the rail of the Bard.
Use sheet metal screws to attach the purifier to the Bard unit
at the attachment holes and to hold the Center Brace.
Route the cable into the electrical box on the side
of the Bard Unit.
Wrap the foam insulation above the rail with
aluminum foil to protect the foam.
The electrical connections are made to the Blower assembly as follows:
Connect a jumper wire with a spade terminal attached to the 220 Volt terminal Cable from UV Purifier.
220 Volt connection from Butt Connector.
Connect the Green ground wire of the cable to the ground lug terminal on the Bard Unit.
Install a spade terminal on the Black wire and connect.
Connect the white wire to the white wire of the cable using a butt connector.
Cover the plastic drain hose with
aluminum foil. Make sure that the drain
functions properly. Replace Rear covers
on the Bard unit.
Apply power.
When the Bard blower starts, you will see
the glow from the front of the Coil.
