Important: Microphone cables are often an overlooked contributor of induced noise. Vibrations
coupled to the microphone through the microphone cable can be reduced by connecting the cable
in such a way that no force or tension exists between the cable and the microphone. By
positioning the microphone cable in a simple “service loop” using the microphone cable clip
provided on the sling-shock will help minimize cable-related vibrations. See figure 4
