• The M2’s primary function
is a live vocal microphone.
When setting it up on
stage, make sure the
foldback monitors are
positioned as pictured in
Figure 1. This will direct
the sound to the vocalist
and towards the least
responsive section of the
M2’s pick up pattern.
• To avoid feedback and make full use of the M2’s
pick up pattern, it is best not to cup your hands
over the head of the microphone, as
shown in Figure 2.
• After use the M2 should be removed from its stand
mount, wiped with a dry, soft cloth and placed in its
protective zip pouch.
• An absorbent crystal pack is supplied with the M2.
This should stay in the zip pouch at the head of the
microphone when not in use, as condensers are
highly susceptible to moisture. When the crystals
turn pink, they can be dryed out in an oven at
100 - 150 degrees celsius for approximately ten
minutes. Once they turn blue they can be reused.
