DIP SWITCH SETTINGS
Note the location of the two DIP switch blocks as shown
on pages 6 and 23 in the User’s Manual. These switches
control the various printer functions for each individual
installation. All Parr devices require that switch number 5
in the larger block marked “SW1” must be in the OFF
(down) position. All other switches in both blocks must
be in the ON (up) position. The power must be turned off
when making any changes in these switch settings.
MAINTENANCE
Instructions for replacing the ribbon and the paper roll
are covered in section 4 of the User’s Manual.
Replacements can be obtained from the Parr Instrument
Company. Identified as follows:
263C Paper Roll, 4.5” wide, for 1755 Printer
264C Ribbon, replacement for the 1755 Printer
If repairs become necessary, contact the Customer
Service Department at Parr Instrument Company.
LANGUAGE SETTINGS
To change the printer in other language, access switch
bank 2 which has four switches. The language settings
are for English, France, Italy and Germany. The settings
are:
English has switches 1, 2, 3 and 4, all in the on
position which is up.
France ha
s 1 in the off mode and 2, 3, and 4 in
the on mode.
Italy has 1, 3 and 4 in the on mode and switch 2
in the off mode.
Germany ha
s 1 and 2 in the off mode and
switches 3 and 4 in the on mode.
Language selection on the 1271 and the 1281 is
available on menu page 2 line 0 and the available
languages are French, German, Czech, and English.
Language selection on the 1266 is available on menu
page 2 line 9 and the available languages are French,
German, Czech, and English.
