26. Keep all of your wet clothes and your inner boots in
your sleeping bag with you while you sleep. If you keep
a small opening in the sleeping bag during the night,
you will wake up to find your clothes and boots dry and
ready for another day’s use.

27. The Condensation Curtain will help isolate the frost
caused by your breathing to only a portion of the tent.
This will help you in the morning when it’s time to get
dressed and it also minimizes the amount of moisture
trapped in the tent fabric. Try to vent your sleeping bag
on the correct side of the curtain! In the morning, after
dressing, you can simply detach the curtain and shake
it off outside.
28. The Condensation Curtain keeps moisture and frost
in a small portion of the tent above your head. Use the
top vent of the tent and the front door to keep as much
of the moisture moving out of the tent as possible. The
curtain also has its own tie-back loop if you wish to hold
it out of the way.

29. When removing snow from your tent, be very
careful not to damage your tent with the shovel.

30. Warm beverages can help you stay hydrated in the
winter. Remember that dehydration is one of the
leading causes of injury in the mountains.

31. To take down Tenshi, first remove the RIF, the
Condensation Curtain and the brow pole. Then pull the
poles straight out. If the pole wraps are stuck to the poles, it
may be necessary to detach them before removing the
poles. If the pole sections have frozen together, simply warm
them in your gloved hand for a minute or two and they
should separate easily.
32. Fold and roll the RIF and insert it into its own stuff sack.
You can divide the weight of the tent by having your partner
carry the RIF!

33. With your foot on the accessory pocket of the stuff sack,
stuff the tent into the large mesh pocket. Then place the
poles inside the pole pocket and roll the stuff sack up and
secure it with the compression strap.

34. Always leave no trace, even in the winter.

35. Congratulations on your first successful expedition as
part of NEMO’s extended family!

36. Do your best to dry the tent out after every expedition.
This will save weight and reduce the likelihood of mildew.
Try to clean as much dirt and debris from your tent as
possible before storing it. This will help preserve the
breathability of the tent fabrics and reduce wear and tear.
