13. Place the rocker into position on the
vehicle. The retaining clips will clip into place.
You may need to adjust the retaining clips slightly
from side to side to ensure the rocker is lined up
correctly.
14. Install the thirteen (13) supplied rocker
bolts (PN: AV13026) into each hole on the rocker,
these will be installed into the grille nuts. Be
sure these bolts are tight and secure but do not
overtighten.
15. Using a pry tool (or equivalent), carefully
remove the weather stripping from the OEM
rocker by prying out the tree style rivets that
hold the weather stripping in place. This weather
stripping will be used on the LPE rocker. Inspect
the weather stripping for damage or wear. If you
need to replace your weather stripping, the GM
part number is 92238467.
16. Install the weather stripping onto the LPE
rocker by pushing each tree rivet into the holes
as shown.
