Hardware Installation
1. Power off your computer.
2. Insert the 10/100 Fast Ethernet Adapter
into the PCI Slot of mainboard. Make
sure it is inserted all the way in for a solid
connection.
3. Power on your computer.
Driver Installation
For Windows ® 2000/XP/Server 2003/Vista
Windows 2000/XP/Server 2003/Vista will automatically detect and Install the correct
driver for the 10/100 Fast Ethernet Adapter.
To Verify Driver Installation
Click on the “Manager” in System
Properties, which you access from
the Windows Control Panel. You
should see a “Realtek RTL8139
Family PCI Fast Ethernet NIC”
in Windows XP/2003 (“Realtek
RTL8139(A) PCI Fast Ethernet
Adapter”
in Windows 2000;
“Realtek RTL8139/810x Family
Fast Ethernet NIC” in Windows
Vista) installed under “Network
adapters”.
