INPUT THE NOTE AND TIME VALUE
Play the keyboard or chord to input the note. Press the 0-9 numeric keys, to input the time value
(see the table).

Combining the numeric keys from 0 to 9, you can get any of chord and time value
Dotted note
Play the keyboard to input the note value. Then press the [7] [1] number key together, to input the time value to
get dotted semibreve.
Triplet note
Play the keyboard to input the note value. Then press the [8] and [4] number key together, to input the time value
to get the fi rst note of the triplet quarter note
Slur
Play the keyboard to input the note value. Then press the [2] key to input the time value; Do not input the note
value again and press [9] and [3] together to get the slur.
Rest
Press the [0] and [4] keys together to get quaver rest.
Example:
Recording a MELODY track in Step Record mode, you must else input the note: Play a keyboard to
input the single note, the LCD will display the note and velocity “XXX NOTE X “.You can change the
velocity by pressing the [+/YES]/[-/NO] buttons.
You can input few notes by playing at one time. The velocity of last note you play will be displayed.
Mostly you can input 10 notes at the same time. The rest is treated as a special note. The LCD will
display “REST” pressing the [0] key.
Input data in ACCOMP track is more simple than that of in MELODY track. It is easy for you to play
the chord keyboard and the LCD will display the root note of the chord and its type.
