2.5.2 Installing the CPU Heatsink and Fan
1. Place the heatsink base on the
relative bottom of motherboard
2. Place the heatsink assembly on
the top of the CPU, making sure that
the four fasteners match the holes on
the motherboard.
3. Screw tightly the four fasteners.
4. Connect the CPU fan cable to the
connector on the motherboard labeled
CPU_FAN.
Do not forget to connect the CPU fan connector! Hardware monitoring
errors can occur if you fail to plug this connector.
