used with this charger. Inferior batteries could cause destruction of rechargeable batteries and the
charger, if the cells used are not suitable for fast charging. If unsuitable cells are inserted into this
charger, warranty claims cannot be accepted and the warranty will become void.
OperatiON
Place the charger on a level surface and ensure that the vents are not covered. Once the unit is
connected to the mains (see type plate), and the corresponding (NiMH or NICd) rechargeable battery is
inserted, the charging process starts automatically. When inserting the batteries please pay attention
to the correct polarity and type (NiMH/NiCd). When several cells are to be charged, they do not need to
be inserted at the same time, as the charging process starts individually. A certain amount of heating
of the batteries during charging is normal. After End of Fast Charge please wait 10 minutes before
using the charger again!
eNvirONmeNt
Rechargeable batteries are not to be disposed of in domestic waste. Return used batteries to your
dealer or even better to a battery collection point.
maiNteNaNCe aND CleaNiNg
To maintain and clean the unit disconnect it from the mains. Only use a dry cloth for cleaning.
