LOUDSPEAKER SYSTEM
DESCRIPTION
Designed to meet professional musician stand
ards, the rugged 1234 Wide-Range speaker sys
tem contains components selected for high
efficiency, high power handling and reliable
performance.
The overall performance of the 1234 satisfies the
most demanding requirements of clubs, audi
toriums, ballrooms and most large environments
where only loud, undistorted, and quality sound
will do. High power handling (up to 120 watts)
and low distortion have been achieved with
a new 15" musical instrument speaker yielding
excellent bass and mid-bass, and by designing
the high-frequency-extending Tangerine^'^ radial
phase plug’in the 808-8B driver. A cast-alumi
num sectoral horn is coupled to the compression
driver for maximum dispersion control and the
dividing network provides smooth crossover at
1200 Hz. for protection of the driver and im
proved system power-handling.
Built to be used under physically demanding cir
cumstances, the portable 1234 features a dur
able yet elegant bass reflex enclosure. Steel front
legs, rear casters and a tow bar make handling
an easy task, while vinyl edge bumper guards
protect the cabinet from abuse.
The sturdy wood enclosure is constructed of

tical damping materials, and is solidly braced to
