I Imager Network-Building Support by Printiink
■ Printlinl^lV, ID, IN
The Printlink5-IV/ID unit provides an open network environment for imager systems by con­
verting signais from non-DICOM diagnostic devices into the DiCOM 3.0 (Print Management
Service Ciass) intemationai standard protocoi. Printlink5-IV is used with modaiities that out­
put ^ГTSC or PAL video. Printiink5-ID is used with modaiities that output 8-bit or 10-bit parai-
iei digitai (DB-37 or DB-50 connector). PrintlinkS-IN can extract patient information from the
non-DiCOM image data via an automatic opticai character recognition function. The patient
information can then be used on print overiays or to enhance network fonctionaiity by faciiitat-
ing DiCOM Store (SCU). The Printiink5-iN aiso supports DICOM Modality Woikiist (SCU).
