OPERATING THE
SNOW BLADE
The blade can be raised with the Lift Lever by
moving the handle to the UP position. The Lift Lever
is completely DOWN when dozing snow.
The blade adjusts to three positions: Straight ahead,
25° left and 25° right. The position is changed by
removing the Cotter Hairpin and the Clevis Pin on
the Pivot Plate, turning the blade by hand and then
replacing the Drilled Carriage Bolt and Cotter Hair
pin in any of the three positions.
ADJUSTMENTS
The Skids are adjustable to three heights to prevent
the blade from digging in the ground, when dozing
snow on gravel.
The snow blade has an automatic trip mechanism to
permit the blade to bypass solid obstructions and
then spring back into position. Tension on the springs
is increased by tightening the Hex Nuts 3/8-16 Thd.
(See figure 4).
The blade pitch is adjusted by loosening the He'' '
Nuts 1/2-13 Thd. and turning the two Hex^He
Bolts 1/2-13 X 2. (See figure 3).
7. Secure in place with two hair pin cotters. See
figure 10.
