To shift into

move
tiller forward slightly, then backward, to allow the gears
to synchronize.
To shift into
forward wheels and tine drive,
engage
the clutch handle about halfway while pushing forward
on the gear selection handie, which allows the gears
necessary for both drive operations to synchronize.
Release the clutch handle as the gear selector moves
into the proper position. Care must be taken not to fully
engage the clutch.
