OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Select Options
Extra Rinse
An additional deep rinse is automatically added to
Regular Fabric loads by using the EXTRA RINSE
option. Press the EXTRA RINSE switch to the “ON”
position before the cycle begins. The washer will add a
second rinse and spin to the cycle. The water tempera
ture will be the same as the initial rinse.

Extra Small - 1/4 full of clothes.
Small - 1/4 to 1/3 full of clothes.
Medium - 1/3 to 1/2 full of clothes.
Large - 1/2 to 3/4 full of clothes.
Extra Large - 3/4 to full of clothes.
Wash/Spin Speed
By pressing the appropriate button, the wash and spin
speeds can be adjusted to fit the washing requirements
of the load.
NOTE: When laundering permanent press items or
items of delicate construction, washable woolens or
loosely knit items, never use less than the MEDIUM
setting. This will minimize shrinkage, wrinHing and
pulling of seams.
REGXJLAR/FAST — Provides regular agitation speed
and fast spin for sturdy fabric loads.
Select Wash/Rinse Water
Temperature
GENTLE/SLOW — Provides a gentle agitation speed
and slow spin for delicately constructed items and
sheer fabrics.
Press the appropriate button to select the w'ater tem
perature desired.
Select Water Level
Move the infinite slide lever up or dovm to Extra
Small, Small, Medium, Large, Extra Large, or any
point in between. If more water is needed once the fill
is complete, move the lever all the way up to Reset,
then move it to the desired setting.
HOT/COLD - Wash water will be the temperature of
the water coming from the hot water faucet. Rinse
water will be cold. Use this setting for heavily
soiled whites and color-fast items.
For best w'ashing results, clothes must circulate freely.
If too little water is used, poor cleaning, linting and
excessive wear may result. Use the following as a guide
to select the proper w^ater level:
WAKM/WARM - Wash water will be a mixture of
water coming from the hot and cold w'ater faucets.
Rinse w^ater will be the same, except wLen the perma
nent press cycle is selected; then it will automatically
be cold. Use this setting for délicates and for col
ored items when a warm rinse following the wash
is preferred.
WARM/COLD - Wash water will be a mixture of
water coming from the hot and cold w^ater faucets.
NOTE; If you experience problems selecting the correct water temperature, or cycle, or starting the
washer, refer to page 8 for additional information before calling for service.
