Center must be installed and electri
cally grounded in accordance with
local codes by a qualified service
person to prevent electrical shock
hazard and assure stability during
operation. Installation instructions
are packed on top of washer for in
staller’s reference. Refer to IN
STALLATION
INSTRLfCTIONS
for detailed grounding procedures.
If Laundry Center is moved to a
new location, have unit checked and
reinstalled by a qualified service
person.

Center, the_electrical cord of a gas
dryer must be plugged into a proper
ly grounded and polarized 3-prong
outlet. The third grounding prong
must never be removed. Never
ground dryer to a gas pipe. Do not
hise an extension cord.

products. Incorrect usage can pro
duce poisonous gas—resulting in

for use in one load unless speci

Safety Features
THERMAL-LIMITER
SWITCH
automatically
shuts
down
dryer
motor in the unlikely event of an
over-heated situation (electric dryer
modek only).
MOTOR SAFETY SWITCH shuts
off heat in dryer if motor stops.
