AUTO DEFROSTING CHART
This chart shows which defrost sequence is recommended for your foods and sonte special directions for use with the
■‘Auto Defrost" feature.

DEFROST 1
BEEF
Ground beef
Remove thawed portions with fork at pause.
Turn over.
Return remainder to oven.
Round steak
Flank steak
Tenderloin steak
Chuck roast
Use a microproof roasting rack.
Turn over at pause.
Cover warm areas with aluminum foil.
Stew beef
Remove thawed portions with fork at pause.
Separate remainder.
Return remainder to oven.
LAMB
Cubed for stew
Remove thawed portions with fork at pause.
Separate remainder.
Return remainder to the oven.
Ground lamb
Remove thawed portions with fork at pause.
Turn over.
Return remainder to oven.
Chops
1 inch thick
Use a microproof rack.
Separate and rearrange at pause.
PORK
Chops. 1'2 inch thick
Use a microproof roasting rack.
Separate and rearrange at pause.
Spareribs
Country-style ribs
Use a microproof roasting rack.
Turn over at pause.
Cover warm areas with aluminum foil.
Sausage, bulk
Remove thawed portions-with fork at pause.
Turn over.
Return remainder to oven.

VEAL
Chops, 1/2 inch thick
Use a microproof roasting rack.
Separate and rearrange at pause.
VARIETY MEAT
Liver, slice
Separate pieces and rearrange at pause.
CHICKEN
Whole
Place chicken breast side up in microproof roasting rack.
Turn over at pause.
Cover warm areas with aluminum foil.
Giblets may still be frozen but chicken will be thawed.
Immerse in cold water.
Cut up
Use a microproof roasting rack.
Separate pieces and rearrange at pause.
Turn over.
Cover warm areas with aluminum loll.
CORNISH HENS
Whole
Place hens breast side up in microproof roasting rack.
Turn over at pause.
Cover warm areas with aluminum foil.
