3 GETTING STARTED
Basic settings
Grab your Suunto Lumi and we can start!
To activate your Suunto Lumi, just press any button. You will then be asked to
set your personal preferences: language, measurement units, time and date.
The right middle [Mode] button moves you from setting to setting. You can
use the lower left [View] button to move back to a previous setting if you would
like to review any preferences. The upper right [Up] or the lower right [Down
Light] buttons allow you to change values. Use the [Mode] button to confirm
your settings. After you have entered all your information, your Suunto Lumi
is ready for adventure!
NOTE: In order to get correct readings, you need to set your altimeter, barometer
and compass. Refer to the User Guide for more detailed information.
Modes
Suunto Lumi has three main functions. We call these modes:
TIME
,
ALTI & BARO
and
COMPASS
. The
TIME
mode features various time-related functions, the
ALTI
& BARO
mode features altimeter and barometer functions, and the
COMPASS
