up. (This step does not apply to
RB-T469SB)
4. Tighten the tube using an
armorer’s wrench as shown with a
safety torque of 35 ft-lb.
3. Screw the Aluminum Buffer

the buffer retaining detent down
until the buffer tube overlaps the
shoulder of the detent to keep it
in place.
2. Unscrew the stock screw from
the end of the stock and remove
the Buffer Tube and Stock Spacer.
(RB-T469SB does not include a
stock spacer)
9. Re-assemble the rifle and test for proper function.
8. Install the Recoil Spring and
Buffer. No special tools needed.
Press them into the Buffer Tube by
hand. Once installed, the spring
and buffer should be held in place
by the buffer detent.
7. Screw the stock screw back
into the end of the stock clockwise
with enough tension. Do Not
over-tighten it.
6. Carefully slide the stock onto the
Buffer Tube and make sure the take
down pin detent spring goes back
into its hole.
1. Caution: Spring and buffer are
compressed inside the stock and held
in place by a yellow colored cap. To
retrieve these parts, point the cap
downward to a safe direction and hold
firmly when un-screwing the cap to
avoid sudden spring release.
