INSTALLATION
When locating a position for this composite generator and tank unit, consideration
should be given to the following:
1)
Generous circulation of air all round the cabinet
2)
Surrounding air free of dirt, contamination and high temperature
3)
Away from possible liquid splatter
4)
Easy access for manual adjustment
5)
Adjacent to suitable power supply
The unit can be placed ready for work within the confines of the power supply lead.
OPERATION
Insert the 3pin plug top on the lead from the unit into a 240volt,AC outlet.
Pour cleaning fluid of your choice into the tank.
Switch the supply mains ON. The unit is now ready to operate.
Activate the Mechanical timer time switch to the desired setting and ultrasonic
cavitation will occur in the liquid.
On the Digital timer select the time period on the timer pads on the main panel and
press START/STOP and ultrasonic action will commence. Countdown setting will
commence and can be stopped at any time by pressing & holding the START/STOP
pad. Beep sound is given when countdown finishes.
Please refer to digital timer instructions on page 5A.
In the console models a circuit breaker is incorporated on the main panel for circuit
protection and personal safety.
When using new liquid in the tank for the first time always allow at least 15 minutes
for it to de-gas before actual cleaning is started.
Cleaning mediums (liquids) for use in these tanks are usually recommended, however
if new solution is to be tried it is most advisable to thoroughly check its suitability
first. As ultrasonic when applied to liquids tends to vaporize them on the surface and
this could cause a dangerous toxic gas to be emitted.
This tank is load tuned to the generator before leaving the factory. It enables the tank
to contend with varying work conditions and no further tuning is needed.
While the tank and jacket will contend with normal dipping from articles being
removed from the cleaning solution the unit should not be subjected to overflow or
splashing liquids.
