3. Release the last two buckles
holding the bag to the kayak and
secure the free paddle blade to the
kayak behind the cockpit. Your
"outrigger" is in place.
4. Climb back on board. The Deck bag
attached to your paddle blade provides the
buoyancy to stabilize your kayak.
5. Release the paddle from the kayak and bring
the deck bag back on board.
6. Clip the deck bag into its harness,
and you are "back in business". With
the deck bag/paddle float combination
- your paddle float is always there
- there is nothing to inflate
- no wasted space in the kayak
- no free floating bag to keep track of
This is as good as it gets.
