Instead of playing a complete disc, you may
select a number of tracks and store these in
the memory in the desired sequence. When
playing, you will hear the stored titles in the
selected sequence.
•Press MEMORY8.
The 'MEMORY' indicator lights up.
• Programme in the STOP position.
1 Select the track with the SKI P r« or ►»
buttons 8.
2Store this track by pressing MEMORY 8 again.
• Store all desired titles in the required sequence.
At most 20 tracks can be stored in the memory.
• Press PLAY/PAUSE ►!! 8 and your selection
is played.
•To stop playback, press STOP ■ 8.
• Beginning from the STOP mode, the
programme of a particular CD will be erased
if you press STOP ■ 8.
The contents of the memory are also erased:
- If you press OPEN;
-If you move the TAPE/CD/RADIO selector 6;
-If the batteries get exhausted or if the power
supply is interrupted in another way.
REPEAT
Press the REPEAT button 8:
lx, to repeat the current track continuously.
2x, to repeat the whole disc continuously.
3x, to cancel the REPEAT function.

Recording is permissible insofar as copyright or
other rights of third parties are not infringed.
Recording
• Press EJECT 12 to open the cassette holder.
• Insert the cassette.
For recording you must use a NORMAL
cassette (ferric oxide, I EC type I) on which
the tabs are not broken out.
-At the very beginning of the tape, no
recording will take place during the first
7 seconds when the transparent leader tape
passes the recorder heads.
• When monitoring, adjust the sound with the
controls VOLUME 4, and TONE 7.
Recording from the CD-player
• Set TAPE/CD/RADIO selector 6 to CD.
• Select the desired track using the
SKIP r« or button 8.
• Press PLAY/PAUSE

of the CD-player.
• Start recording by pressing RECORD • 12;
in doing so, PLAY ► is pressed too.
The POWER, indicator 5 lights up.
• For brief interruptions, press PAUSE

To restart recording, press this button again.
•To stop recording, press STOP■ 12.
• To switch off the set, place TAPE/CD/RADIO
selector 6 to TAPE.
Recording from the radio
• Set TAPE/CD/RADIO selector 6 to RADIO,
• In case of FM radio recordings, set
FM-MODE selector 1 to the desired position.
• Now start recording by pressing
RECORD • 12; PLAY ► is automatically
pressed too.
The POWER, indicator 5 lights up.
• For brief interruptions, press PAUSE

Safeguarding against erasure
Keep the cassette side to be safeguarded in
front of you and break out the left tab.
Now, recording on this side is no longer
possible. You can render this safeguard
ineffective by covering the aperture with a
piece of adhesive tape.
