Problems with Scanning

Scanner will not scan

Cause 1:

Scanner not powered up

Solution:

Securely connect the AC adapter to the scanner and electrical outlet
(See Quick Start Guide)

Cause 2:

Scanning unit locked

Solution:

Unlock scanning unit by setting lock switch to unlocked position
(See Quick Start Guide)

Cause 3:

Software incorrectly installed

Solution:

Reinstall software (See Quick Start Guide)

Scanning unit fails to return to ready position (front of scanner)

Cause:

AC adapter out of contact with electrical outlet or scanner while scanning
unit in motion

Solution:

Clear all documents and objects from the document glass, close the document
cover, unplug the AC adapter from the electrical outlet and then plug it back in
