The REMOTE jack hooks up to the remote
with shielded CAT 5-e cable that can be up
to 100 feet long. Don’t plug this into a
router or computer- it’s not an Ethernet
connection. Please use only the cable
supplied by Dangerous. An unshielded
cable lifts the remote ground, leaving your
remote susceptible to damage from static
charges, and it will void your warranty. If
you need a longer cable run, or have any
questions, please contact us.
The TB Remote connector fires the
talkback circuit if pin 2 is connected to pin
3. Putting a switch on the end of a mic
cable can give someone else in the control
room the means to operate the talkback
circuit. Using the TB Remote does not dim
the control room speakers.
