The appliance cannot be switched on unless
-
Filter tray and lid have been attached
correctly and

the pulp container has been inserted
correctly.
Before using the appliance, always check
the lid lock by pulling on the filling shafti
Overload protection
If the motor switches itself off while the
appliance is being used, the overload protection
feature has been activated. Possible causes:
-
Pulp container full,
-
excessive pressure on the pusher when
adding fruit and vegetables.
In this case proceed as follows:
•
Switch off the appliance and pull out
the mains plug.
•
Release the lid and removed.
•
Empty the filling shaft, filter and pulp
container.
•
Leave the appliance to cool down for
approx. 15 minutes in order to deactivate
the overload protection.
•
Re-assemble the appliance. If the motor will
not
start
subsequently,
leave
the
appliance
to cool down for longer.

Assemble
•
Insert the pulp container into the motor
unit
(Fig. 3)

•
First insert the filter tray with the outlet into
the motor unit
(Fig. 4)

•
Insert the filter
(Fig. 5)
. Check for damage

Attach the lid and press down until it clicks
into position
(Fig. 6a)
. When the lid has been
locked into position, the switch must be in
the
0/off
position.
•
If required, place the filler tray on the filling
shaft
(Fig. 7a)

To prevent froth, place juice jug with large
opening under the outlet
(Fig. 10)

Operating the appliance
Preparing fruit and vegetables
Warning!
Prooess ripe and unfrozen fruit and vegetables
only. Unripe fruit and vegetables will blook
the filter very quiokly.
•
First, wash the fruit and vegetables.
•
First, peel the fruit and vegetables with thick
skins (e.g. kiwi, melons, lemons, oranges,
beetroot).
•
Remove stones from fruit. Remove large
stalks.
•
Chop up large fruit and vegetables so that
they fit the filling shaft.
Do not process: Bananas, rhubarb, avocados.
Extracting juice
•
Place the assembled appliance on
a smooth, clean worktop.
•
Switch on the appliance.
•
When the motor is running, put fruit/
vegetables in the filling shaft.
•
When pushing down the fruit/vegetables,
use the pusher only
(Fig. 8)
. Never place
fingers in the filling shaft
(Fig. 9)
.
Apply only light pressure to the pusher.
This increases juice yield and protects
the appliance.
•
Switch off the appliance:
Do not switch off the appliance until all the
juice has run out.
Warning!
Before opening the appliance, wait until the
motor has stopped.

Move the switch to
0/off

Wait until the motor stops (approx.
2-3 sec.).

Open the cover by rotating the switch
to
open
