Appendix: Firmware Upgrades
NOTE: Only firmware upgrades can be uploaded directly to the MLX-2. Firmware
is loaded to to the MLX-2 using the USB cable included in your MLX-2’s packaging
Use Crestron Toolbox for communicating with the MLX-2; refer to the Crestron
Toolbox help file for details.

The computer port on the MLX-2 connects to the PC via the supplied USB cable:
1. Use the Address Book in Crestron Toolbox to create an entry using USB. In
the Device Type selection, select MLX-2(USB) after acknowledging the
warning.
2. Display the MLX-2’s “System Info” window (click the
icon);
communications are confirmed when the device information is displayed.
3. Select Functions | Firmware… to upgrade the MLX-2 firmware.
