I ter Filter, (except carbon cartridge), free of charge, if defective in material or

workmanship.

WARRANTY SERVICE IS AVAILABLE BY SIMPLY RETURNING THE

I COUNTERTOP WATER FILTER TO THE NEAREST SEARS STORE
' THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights

Your Kenmore Countertop Water

Filter consists of the following parts.

(1) Filter Assembly with water sup
ply tubing and spout

(2) Activated carbon filter cartridge

(3) A parts bag containing adaptors

and gaskets for the diverter valve

this manual when connecting and

the inner cartridge.

Y Use the filter on a potable, safe-
to-drink, house water supply only.
The activated carbon cartridge will

not purify water, or make it safe to
drink. Do not use with water that

is microbiologically unsafe or of

unknown

quality

without

ade

quate disinfection before or after
the system.

Y Do not set the water filter near

the edge of the counter where it

could fall to the floor and break.

The water filter works on water

pressures of 40 psi (minimum) to

100 psi (maximum). If your house

water pressure is over the maxi
mum, install a pressure reducing

valve in the water supply pipe to
the water filter.
