'A cup sour cream
A cup shredded mozzarella cheese,
about 4 ounces
!4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Baked Ziti
A pound lean ground beef
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
IA cups spaghetti sauce
1A cups uncooked ziti pasta
In a skillet over medium high heat cook ground beef and onion until beef is done,
about 8 minutes. Add spaghetti sauce and stir to mix. Set aside. Cook pasta according
to package directions. Drain. In a greased 9x5-inch metal loaf pan layer the following
half of pasta, sour cream, half of meat sauce, remaining pasta, mozzarella, then
remaining meat sauce. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
Makes 2 to 3 servings.
Baked Chicken Parmesan
A teaspoon garlic salt
!4 cup dry bread crumbs
14 cup Parmesan cheese
4 boneless chicken breasts, about
1 to 114 pounds
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
Combine garlic salt, bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese in a shallow bowl. Rub oil
over chicken breasts then dip breasts in coating. Place chicken breasts on baking
sheet and bake at 400°F for 20 minutes.
Makes 4 servings.
Cheesy Biscuits
1 cup buttermilk baking mix
Vi cup + 1 tablespoon milk
A cup shredded Cheddar cheese
14
teaspoon garlic powder
In a small mixing bowl combine baking mix, milk, cheese, and garlic. Stir until well
mixed. Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased baking pan. Bake at 450°F for 10 minutes
or until golden.
Makes 6 to 8 biscuits.
To Reheat Cold Pizza
Thin Crust Pizza:
Preheat oven to 300°F. Place pizza on
rack and heat for 10 minutes.
Thick Crust Pizza:
Preheat oven to 375°F. Place pizza on
rack and heat for 10 minutes.
