your freezer
• Be sure your freezer is properly
installed in an appropriate level
area and a place suitable for
the size, function and protection
of the freezer.

Energy saving tips
• Check lid gaskets for tightness
of seai. Levei cabinet properiy
to assure a good door seai.
• Keep lid openings to a
items at one time as possibie.
Keep foods organized to
eiiminate searching.
• Fili to capacity. However, do
not add too much unfrozen food
at one time. Follow recom
mended loading procedures.
• Frost should not build up to
more than
'/4 inch (6 mm) thick
(reduces efficiency).
• Set coid control to provide the
right degree of cold fem-
perafure. Temperafure should
be about 0° F (-22° C). There is
no need to store foods below 0° F.
• Do nof locate freezer next to or
near a heat source, such as a
range, water heater, furnace, etc.
