Cleaning your freezer
This freezer is a No-Frost modei and defrosts automaticaily. Compiete
cieaning, however, shouid be done at ieast once a year.
To clean:
1. Turn Temperature Controi to OFF.
2. Unpiug power cord.
3. Take out aii food.
Note: Wrap frozen foods and packages in several
layers of newspaper and cover with a bianket. Food
wiii stay frozen for severai hours.
4. Remove the bottom basket, see page 5.
5. Ciean freezer according to the following directions.
After cleaning:
1. Replace the bottom basket, see page 5.
2. Plug in power cord.
3. See directions for "Setting the Temperature Control,'
page 5.

• Wash with warm water and mild detergent;
OR with solution of 2 tablespoons (26 g) baking
soda to 1 quart (.95 L) warm water.

DO NOT USE cleaning waxes, concentrated detergents, bleaches
or cleansers containing petroleum on plastic because they may
damage these parts.

Use vacuum cleaner
with extended
narrow attachment.
• Remove base grille. (See page 6.)
• To remove defrost pan, lift pan over wire
brace (remove tape; if any).
• Wash defrost pan with warm water and mild
detergent. Rinse and dry.
• Replace pan with notched corner to the rear
• Push it all the way in.
• Make sure defrost drain tube is pointing
into pan.
• Replace base grille.
• Remove the base grille.
• Clean dust and lint from oondenser
(every 2 to 3 months).
• Replace the base grille.
