Vacation care
1. Turn off botl" water faucets to
take pressu 3 off inlet valves
and hoses
2. Unplug pov or supply cord or
turnoffelec ncal power supply.
3. Clean lint s< reen and lint filter.
Install and store your washer/ dryer where it /on't treeze Because
some water stays in the washer, freezing cand imageit. Ifyour washer/
dryer is stored or moved dur.ng freezing weati er, winterize it.
1. Shut off both water
taucets Disconnect
and drain water
inlet hoses.
2. Put Cl quart of auto­
mobile-type anti­
freeze in the basket
Run washer on a
drain and spin set­
ting (see page 10) for
about 30 seconds to
mix antifreeze and
water
To use the washer again...
1. Flush water pipes 3. Turn on both wafer
and hoses. faucets.
2 . Reconnect water in­
let hoses.
J. To clean out anti­
freeze. run washer
through a complete
cycle with a cup of
detergent
