3. Loosen the wing bolt (A), then
slide the latch outboard into the
side rail. Tighten down the wing
bolt (A). Do this on both sides.
Both latches must remain
engaged and the wing bolts
tightened while the cover is on
the vehicle. Make sure by lifting
up on each end of the cover
assembly.
4. Unbuckle both straps and roll
the cover out. Make sure that
each bow falls in between the
side rails. If the bows do not fit
between the side rails, verify that
the clamps are pushed fully
outboard without any gaps
between the clamp pad and
pickup box. If additional
clearance is required, remove
the clamp closest to the
interference. Remove the orange
strip to allow access to the outer
slot of the upper clamp. Reinstall
the clamp using the outer groove
of the upper clamp. If bows are
too loose, adjust the clamp
closest to the bow with the
excessive clearance to the inner
groove of the upper clamp.
