ERICA FUSION VOLTAGE CONTROLLED FILTER MANUAL
THANK YOU FOR ORDERING
ERICA FUSION VCF MODULE!
The Erica Synths Fusion series modules are designed combin-
ing vacuum tubes and semiconductors therefore they bring
warm, powerful sound and crazy overdrive possibilities of
vacuum tubes into your modular system. Erica Fusion series
consist of whole range of modules used in sound generation
and shaping circuit – pure sine VCO with unique tube wavesh-
aper, VCO signal Mixer, Ringmodulator, VCF, VCA and Analogue
Delay/Chorus. Erica Fusion modules have insignificant (max
15mA) power consumption from eurorack power supply unit
(PSU), but they require separate, easy to install 6VAC PSU for
tube heaters. Erica Fusion 6VAC PSU is designed to power up to
7 Erica Fusion modules and is available from Erica Synths
SHOP or comes for free with purchase of 2 or more Erica Fusion
modules.
Erica Fusion VCF is built around classical T bandpass filter
topology with a tube working simultaneously as a preamplifier
and filter feedback driver. As result you get a VCF with wide
range of sonic possibilities from warm, juicy sound to extreme,
distorted and self-resonating screams.

Apply another Cutoff CV here;
CV2 is not attenuated

Signals are mixed on the tube
Input attenuator adjusts
input signal level. Input
accepts signals at
virtually any level,
‘cause they are fed
directly into tube.
Adjust signal level in
order to get clean,
undistorted signal on
the output OR take
advantage of
interesting tube
distortion/overdrive
effects
same as for IN1. As bonus to VCF,
you get tube mixer!
Add some resonance! The filter will self-resonate
and produce nice tube-generated sinewave
