■ 1. This set is exclusively for use in cars with a negative
ground, 12 V power supply.
2. Read these instructions carefully.
3. Be sure to disconnect the battery “ -” terminal before
starting. This is to prevent short circuits during installation.
(Figure 1)

2. Lire ces instructions attentivement.
3. S’assurer de débrancher la borne “ -” de la batterie avant
de commencer. Cela évitera les court-circuits pendant
l’installation. (Figure 1)

Fahrzeugen mit einer 12 V-Batterie und negativer Erdung
ausgelegt.
2. Lesen Sie sich diese Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durch.
3. Zur Verhütung von Kurzschlüssen muß das “ -”
Batteriekabel vor dem Einbau abgetrennt werden.

3. Assicuratevi di scollegare il terminale “ -” della batteria
prima di cominciare. Questo serve per prevenire la messa
a corto circuito durante l’installazione. (Figura 1)

2. Lees deze richtlijnen zorgvuldig.
3. Koppel vóór u van start gaat de “ -” klem van de acculos.
Zo voorkomt u een eventuele kortsluiting tijdens de
installatie. (Figuur 1)

2. Lea cuidadosamente estas instrucciones.
3. Antes de comenzar, cerciórese de desconectar el terminal
“ -” de la batería. Esto es para evitar cortocircuitos durante
la instalación. (Figura 1)

med 12 V batterispanning och negativ jord.
2. Läs instruktionerna noga.
3. Var noga med att ta loss “ -” - kabeln från batteriet innan
du börjar. Detta är nödvändigt för att förhindra
kortslutningar under installationsarbetet. (Figur 1)

■ Cautions on installation
1. Check that the strap is ready before proceeding with
installation.
2. Install the unit within 30° of the horizontal plane. (Figure 2)
3. If you have to do any work on the car body, such as drilling
holes, consult your car dealer beforehand.
4. Use the enclosed screws for installation. Using other
screws can cause damage. (Figure 3)
■ Précautions d’installation
1. Vérifier que la bande est prête avant de procéder à
l’installation.
2. Installer l’appareil avec un angle inférieur à 30° par rapport
à l’ho-rizontal. (Figure 2)
3. S’il est nécessaire d’effectuer certains travaux sur la
carrosserie comme percer des trous, consulter d’abord
votre concessionnaire automobile.
4. Utiliser les vis fournies pour l’installation. L’utilisation
d’autres vis peut causer des dommages. (Figure 3)
■ Vorsichtsmaßnahmen zum Einbau
1. Überprüfen Sie vor dem Einbau die Schaltbrücke.
2. Installieren Sie das Gerät in einem Winkel von 30˚ - von
der Horizontale ausgesehen. (Abbildung 2)
3. Falls der Einbau das Bohren von Löchern oder andere
Modifikationen erfordert, ziehen Sie bitte vorher einen
Fachhändler zu Rate.
4. Benutzen Sie für den Einbau die mitgelieferten Schrauben,
da die Verwendung anderer Schrauben zu
Beschädigungen führen kann. (Abbildung 3)
■ Precauzioni sull’installazione
1. Controllate che la staffa sia pronta prima di iniziare
l’installazione.
2. Installate l’unità entro 30˚ dal piano orizzontale. (Figura 2)
3. Nel caso in cui dovete effettuare dei lavori sull’involucro
dell’automobile, ad esempio trapanare dei fori, ecc.,
rivolgetevi al vostro rivenditore di automobili.
4. Usate le viti in dotazione per l’installazione. L’uso di altre
viti può causare danni. (Figura 3)
■ Voorzorgsmaatregelen bij de installatie.
1. Controleer of de beugel klaar is vóór u met de installatie
van start gaat.
2. Installeer het toestel binnen een hoek van 30˚ ten opzichte
van het horizontale vlak. (Figuur 2)
3. Als u werkzaamheden moet verrichten aan de carrosserie
van de wagen, zoals bijv. het boren van gaten, neem dan
eerst contact op met uw wagendealer.
4. Gebruik de bijgeleverde schroeven voor de installatie.
Het gebruik van andere schroeven kan leiden tot schade.

■ Precauciones a tomar durante la instalación
1. Antes de proceder con la instalación, verifique que la
abrazadera esté lista.
2. Instale la unidad con un ángulo de 30° sobre el plano
horizontal. (Figura 2)
3. Si tiene que realizar cualquier trabajo en la carrocería,
como taladrado de orificios, etc., consulte al proveedor de
su automóvil.
4. Use los tornillos incluidos para la instalación. El uso de
otros tornillos puede causar daños. (Figura 3)
■ Viktigt vid installationen
1. Ta fram fästbygeln innan du börjar med installationen.
2. Montera apparaten i högst 30˚ vinkel mot horisontalplanet
(Figur 2)
3. Rådgör först med bilens återförsäijare om du är tvungen att
utföra något arbete på karossen, t ex att borra hål.
4. Använd inga andra skruvar än dem som följer med vid
installationen. Felaktiga skruvar kan ställa till skada
(Figur 3)

1. Verifique se a correia está pronta antes de continuar com a
instalação.
2. Instale a unidade dentro de 30˚ do plano horizontal.

3. Se tiver de efectuar algum trabalho na carroçaria da
viatura, tal como abrir furos, etc., consulte antes o
representante da sua viatura.

■ 1. Place the universal mounting bracket into the instrument
panel, use a screwdriver to bend each stopper of the
universal mounting bracket inward, then secure the stopper
as shown in Figure 4.
2. Connect the wiring as shown in section 6.
3. Insert the main unit into the universal mounting bracket.
4. Secure the rear of the unit as shown in Figure 4 or Figure 5.
5. Take care of the top and bottom of the outer escutcheon
and mount it so that all the hooks are locked. (Figure 6)
■ 1. Placer le support de montage universel dans le tableau de
bord, utiliser un tournevis pour replier vers l’extérieur
chaque languette du support de montage universel, puis
fixer les languettes comme montré sur la Figure 4.
2. Brancher le câblage comme indiqué dans la section 6.
3. Insérer le module principal dans la patte de montage
universel.
4. Fixer l’arrière de l’appareil comme indiqué sur la Figure 4
ou sur la Figure 5.
5. Repérer le haut et le bas de l’écusson extérieur et le
monter de manière que tous les crochets soient verrouillés.

■ 1. Setzen Sie den Universal-Montagerahmen in das
Instrumentenbrett ein und biegen Sie jeden Stopper des
Universal-Montagerahmens mit Hilfe eines
Schraubenziehers nach innen. Sichern Sie den Stopper
dann wie in Abb. 4 gezeigt.
2. Schließen Sie die Drähte wie in Abschnitt 6 beschrieben
an.
3. Schieben Sie das Quellengerät in den Universal-
Montagerahmen.
4. Die Rückseite des Geräts wie in Abbildung 4 oder 5
gezeigt sichern.
5. Aut’ die Ober-und der Unterseite der äußeren Zierleisten
achten und so anbringen, daß alle Haken eingerastet sind.

■ 1. Collocare la plancia di montaggio universale nel pannello
strumenti, usare un cacciavite per piegare verso l'interno
ciascun fermo della plancia di montaggio universale e
quindi fissare il fermo come mostrato nella Figura 4.
2. Collegare il cablaggio come mostrato nella sezione 6.
3. Inserire l'apparecchio principale nella plancia di montaggio
universale.
4. Fissare il retro dell'apparecchio come mostrato nella Figura
4 o nella Figura 5.
5. Fare attenzione alla cima ed al fondo del frontalino esterno
e montarlo in modo che tutti i ganci siano bloccati.

■ 1. Plaats de universele bevestigingsbeugel op het
instrumentenpaneel en buig iedere aanslag van de
universele bevestigingsbeugel met een schroevendraaier
naar binnen en zet vervolgens de aanslag zoals u in Figuur
4 ziet vast.
2. Sluit de bedrading aan zoals in hoofdstuk 6 wordt
beschreven.
3. Steek het hoofdtoestel in de universele
bevestigingsbeugel.
4. Zet de achterkant van het toestel zoals getoond in Figuur 4
of Figuur 5 vast.
5. Verwissel de boven- en onderkant van de sierlijst niet en
bevestig zodanig dat alle haken vergrendelen.

■ 1. Coloque el soporte de montaje universal en el panel de
instrumentos. Utilice un destornillador para doblar cada
retén del soporte de montaje universal hacia adentro, y
después asegure el retén como se muestra en la figura 4.
2. Conecte los cables como se indica en la sección 6.
3. Inserte la unidad principal en el soporte de montaje
universal.
4. Asegure el resto de la unidad como se muestra en la figura
4 o en la figura 5.
5. Tenga cuidado con la parte superior e inferior del adorno
exterior y móntelo de forma que auede enganchado.

■ 1. Placera universalmonteringsfästet i instrumentpanelen, böj
var och en av stopparna på universalmonteringsfästet inåt
med hjälp av en skruvmejsel, och fäst sedan stopparen på
det sätt som visas i Figur 4.
2. Dra kablarna enligt beskrivningen i avsnitt 6.
3. Stick in huvudenheten i universalmonteringsfästet.
4. Fäst huvudenheten baktill på det sätt som visas i Figur 4
eller Figur 5.
5. Håll försiktigt i ytterramens över- och underkant och
montera den så att alla hakarna låses fast (Figur 6).
■ 1. Coloque o suporte universal de montagem no interior do
painel de instrumentos. E seguida, usando uma chave de
fendas, dobre para dentro cada um dos retentores do
suporte universal de montagem e fixe os retentores, como
mostra a figura 4.
2. Faça a ligação dos fios, como é mostrado na secção 6.
3. Introduza a unidade principal no suporte universal de
montagem.
4. Fixe o lado posterior da unidade, como mostra a figura 4
ou a figura 5.
5. Tenha cuidado com o topo e a base da moldura exterior e
monte-a de modo tal que todos os ganchos fiquem fixos
(figura 6).

Before attaching the universal mounting bracket, slightly bend the spring toward the inside with your fingers and attach it to
the side of car.

côté de la voiture
Hinweis:
Vor Anbringung des Universal-Montagerahmens, die Feder geringfügig mit den Fingern nach innen biegen und an der
Fahrzeugseite anbringen.
Nota:
Prima di applicare la staffa di montaggio universale, piegare leggermente verso l'interno la molla con le dita e applicarla al
lato dell’auto.
Opmerking:
Alvorens de universele bevestigingsbeugel te bevestigen, moet u de veer met uw vingers iets naar binnen buigen en aan
de zijde van de auto bevestigen.
Nota:
Antes de fijar el soporte de montaje universal, doble ligeramente el resorte hacia el interior con los dedos y fíjelo en la
parte lateral del automóvil.

Böj fjädern en aning inåt med fingrarna och fäst den i bilens sida innan du sätter fast universalmonteringsfästet.

1) Some car models require special mounting kits for proper
installation. Consult your Clarion dealer for details.
2) Fasten the front stopper securely to prevent the main unit
from coming loose.
