IDENTIFICATION
VEHICLE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER
The vehicle identification number is stamped
into the steering head pipe.

The vehicle identification number is used to
identify your machine and may be used to
register your machine with the licensing
authority in your state.
ENGINE SERIAL NUMBER
The engine serial number is stamped on the left
side of the engine on top of the crankcase.

NOTE:
The first digits of these numbers are for model
identifications; the remaining digits are the unit
production number.
Keep a record of these numbers for reference
when ordering parts from a Yamaha dealer.
