Replace belt whenever a burning rubber smell caused by excessive silppage occurs /

Piace carpet-bare fioor selector In CARPET position /

Remove iower piafe /
Quite la base inferior
>- Remove agitator by carefully lifting out /
Ai levantar con cuidado quite el agitador
>- Remove worn or broken belt /
Qu/fe la correa gastada o rota
>- If end caps fall off, do not lose the two (2) washers /
Si se caen los tapas del extremo, no pierda las dos (2)
arandelas
>- Loop new belt (Panasonic Type UB8 only) around
motor shaft and brush pulley; see illustration for
correct belt routing /
Envuelva la correa nueva {Panasonic Type UB8 solamente)
en el eje del motor y la polea de cepillo, véase el diagrama
para envolver la correa
Clean agitator and replace the two (2) washers and end
caps/

Reinstall agitator back into nozzle housing grooves /

>- After reinstalling the agitator, turn it by hand to make
sure that belt is not twisted or pinched and that ail
rotating parts turn freely /
