Power Source
Insert two AA size (R6/LR6 or equivalent, not
included) batteries.
•Batteries instaiied with incorrect poiarities may
leak and damage this unit.
•Replace with fresh batteries of the same kind,
observing correct potarity,
•Do not use rechargeable type batteries.
Battery life
When the batteries are weak, the sound will be­
come distorted, and the volume will decrease.
Headband
Adjust it to fit your head.
Turn the VOLUME to
adjust the volume.
Support band
Before putting on the receiver, pull
out the support band fully from the
headband. Then adjust it to fit your
head.
Set the BAND to FM DX,
FM LOCAL or AM.
Listening to FM broadcast, nor­
mally set the BAND to FM DX.
When the FM reception is im­
paired, or there is interference
from a powerful station, set the
BAND to FM LOCAL
Turn the TUNING into
the desired station.
See the dial scale on out­
side of right ear pad.
HIGH LOW
I Set the POWER to ON.
■ To tui*n off the radio
Set the POWER to OFF.
Troubleshooting Guide
Before requesting service for this unit, check the chart below for a possible cause of the problem you are

Problem Checkpoint Remedy
No operation. The batteries are installed in
the reverse polarity. Re-insert the batteries observing the correct
polarity.
No sound. The batteries are worn out. Replace the batteries with new batteries.
