You may use alkaline batteries for operation
of the CCRadio
plus and the Light, but they
are not rechargeable. Never connect the
6V DC charging adapter or solar panel to
the radio while alkaline batteries are
installed.
Instructions For The Light & Solar Options
To use the CCRadio plus with
the Light only: Plug the light
into the jack labeled “LED
Lamp”. The light will come on
when plugged in, as long as
the radio has battery power.
The white LED bulb is very
energy efficient, lasts for
thousands of hours and is
virtually unbreakable.The cord
on the light will extend up to 6 ft. Just pull on the connector and unreel it
to the desired length. To rewind the cord, hold the black base in one
hand and twist the light top with the other hand. The base is also a
magnet, so you can mount it to any metal surface like the front speaker
grill on the radio, a refrigerator, or a car.
