Installation:
When installing the HBS Adjustable Lower Control arms,
this kit will replace the OEM cam bolt that is on your
vehicle.
1. Remove the OEM cam bolt located at the front of
the lower control arm.
2. Install large cam replacement washer and
bolt. Place one large cam eliminator washer (Item 2)
onto the bolt (Item 1). Start from the inside, slide the
bolt through the inside axle mount, lower control arm
end joint, and out the outside axle mount.
3. Place a second eliminator washer on the bolt
on the outside of the mount. Again, be sure the large
eliminator washers are sitting inside the U shaped
adjustment rings on the mount. Add the top lock nut
and finger-tighten.
IMPORTANT: Be sure the large eliminator washers on
both inside and outside the mounts are sitting within
the U-shaped adjustment ring on the mount.
4. Tighten nut. Using a wrench on the bolt and a
socket on the nut, tighten the nut.
ATTENTION! As you tighten the nut, ensure that the
washers have not shifted. When the nut is snug, check
both large cam eliminator washers to ensure they are
sitting flat against the mount and inside the OEM
adjustment ring.
5. Torque the nut to specification.
6. Repeat on opposite side.
