Possible Cause
Solution
Wax does not go on evenly.
Polishing seems difficult.
Polisher does not turn on.
Bonnet surface is creased or
wrinkled, resulting in uneven
application/buffing.
Pad spins slower than normal or
not at all.
Too much wax on the bonnet.
Bonnet may be worn.
Bad connection to receptacle.
Problem with motor.
Drawstring is loose.
Motor needs to be serviced or
replaced.
Remove a portion of the wax and retry.
Replace bonnet.
Check to make sure plug is properly
seated in outlet. If using an extension
cord, check connection and wire gauge.
Call your Ryobi authorized service center.
Untie drawstring and retighten.
Call your Ryobi authorized service center.
